For this piece I was primarily focused on figuring out how p5.js works. I am pretty familiar with using java for coding, but I have never used an interface such as this one before. I played around with shapes, colors, and the placement of different objects. Because this was my first time using p5.js, I decided to create abstract art with a little bit of animation. I created a sun and a cloud at the top, I think they turned out pretty nice. The color palette I went for was more pastel colors and a lot of pink.

This piece was inspired by a word association game, where my word was Trader Joes. I started by using a picture on google of an empty supermarket shelf. I then drew different fruits on photopea and coded them into the drawing. Some of the fruits being apples, bananas, and oranges. I like how this is somewhat of a mixed media and I like the cartoonish style mixed with realism. I am proud of this piece and I think it is a very unique concept. The word association game really pushed me to create something that is different than what I usually make.
